JEE Mains 2018- Paper Analysis
According to FIITJEE, JEE Main 2018 Paper I examination was comparatively less difficult than the previous year. The expected cutoff of JEE Main 2018 by FIITJEE is around 86 marks.

• Physics -
Moderate in level of difficulty. Physics section had more questions from Mechanics (30%) and Electrostatics & Current Electricity (17%). From 11th standard syllabus, there were 13 questions and from 12th standard, there were 17 questions asked in the examination.

•Chemistry -
Comparatively easier than the other two sections. Majority of the questions in this section were from Physical Chemistry (40%). In the question paper, 17 questions were from 11th standard syllabus and 13 questions were from 12th standard.

• Mathematics -
This section was of moderate difficulty. Most of the questions asked were from Calculus (27%) and Algebra (27%). From the 11th standard syllabus, 15 questions were present in the question paper and from 12th standard, 15 questions were present.

• Chemistry -
According to Rao IIT Academy, the Chemistry paper was slightly difficult than the previous year. The overall paper was balanced but difficult to score. Physical chemistry questions were slightly lengthy and tricky while some questions from Inorganic Chemistry were tough.

• Mathematics -
Compared to last year, Mathematics section was longer. All of the questions were conventional and a majority of questions were very specific to the topics. This section was comparatively tougher than last year. Few of the questions were formula based and the distribution of conceptually easy questions was uniform. 12th standard syllabus questions were relatively tougher than 11th standard.
